INDEMNITY FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON EMAIL 

This INDEMNITY is given this _____day of _____________ 20___ by ____________________ _______________________ (hereinafter referred to as "the Indemnitor") to Diaspora Banking Unit and in the same regard to Credit Bank limited in consideration of acceptance of online instructions from me/us from time to time ("the Instructions") without requiring a written confirmation bearing my/our actual signatures in accordance with my/our mandate in respect of any of the following transactions pertaining to my/our transactional/ saving/ fixed/ loan account with Credit Bank limited.  Accounts opening.  Confirmation of account details.  Confirmation of document details (Card & PIN receipt).  Card activation request.  Payment instructions.  Loan facility application.  Renewal/ replacement request for cards/pins.  Any other instruction in relation to the account held with Credit Bank limited. I/We confirm that: 1. Credit Bank limited is authorized to act on the instructions, which have been transmitted online from I/us to Credit Bank limited without bearing the true likeness of my/our signatures and which you believe emanate from me/us (without the need for any verification or investigation) and Credit Bank limited shall not be liable for acting on the instructions/orders by which emanate from me/unauthorized individuals or in any other circumstances whatsoever. 2. Credit Bank limited shall not be under any duty to verify the identity of the person or persons giving such instructions in our/my name and any transaction made pursuant to the Instructions shall be binding upon me/us PROVIDED THAT Credit Bank limited may, in its absolute discretion, decline to act on or in accordance with the whole or any part of an e-mail instruction pending further enquiry to or further confirmation (whether written or otherwise) from the Indemnitor, so however that Credit Bank limited shall not be under any obligation to so decline in any case, and Credit Bank limited shall in no event or circumstances be liable in any respect for so declining. 3. We undertake to keep Credit Bank limited indemnified at all times against and to save you harmless from all actions proceedings, claims, loss, damage, costs and expenses, which may be brought against you or suffered or incurred by you and which shall have arisen out of or in connection with your accepting online instructions from us in respect of any or all of the above stated transactions and acting thereon. 4. Unless and except this authorization/ instruction is duly revoked or modified by any subsequent authorization issued by me/us and a certified copy of such subsequent authorization communicated to and received by Credit Bank limited before the execution of the prior instruction and within the stipulated deadline for revocation and or amendment of instructions, I undertake to be bound irrevocably by such prior instruction 5. Credit Bank limited will only effect instructions from my/our account provided by me/us through email address......................................................... 6. I/We understand and acknowledge that the email channel is an insecure medium of transmitting information and as such I/We hereby undertake to indemnify Credit Bank limited in full for any loss, cost or expenses that Credit Bank limited may suffer or incur by reason of honoring my/our online requests irrespective of whether the instructions are later discovered to have been erroneously, negligently or fraudulently issued.
